The one cookie

When you open the cake request page, the site asks the server for a form token. That request sets a first-party session cookie named cakelle_session. The cookie remembers the token that must come back with the form. It is also what lets the server ignore a submission that arrives too fast to be a person typing.

What is not in use

There is no Google Analytics cookie, no Meta pixel, no embedded map, and no video player. Fonts are files on this website, not a live call to a font service. Because there are no optional cookies, this site does not run a consent banner. A banner would claim a choice the site does not offer.

If you block the cookie

You can block cookies in your browser. If you block cakelle_session, the request form cannot be submitted. You can still order by calling +1 (904) 643-4172. The rate-limit file on the server is not a cookie. It does not appear in your browser.
