Cake Ordering Guide

This is how a custom cake request works at Cakelle Atelier in Jacksonville. Use it before you fill out the form so the reply can be specific.

1. Start with the occasion

Pick the closest page if you want ideas first: birthday, wedding, baby shower, gender reveal, graduation, anniversary, cupcakes, or mini cakes. Anything else can still be a custom cake.

2. Gather the details we actually need

  • Your name, email, and a phone number that will be answered.
  • The event type and the cake category.
  • The event date. Past dates are rejected. Please do not send a date you have already missed.
  • The number of servings, using one slice per guest as a starting point.
  • A flavor direction, if you have one. “Not sure” is acceptable.
  • Design notes: colors, message text, and what you do not want.
  • Allergies or ingredients to avoid.
  • Whether you prefer pickup or delivery. Delivery needs a ZIP code.
  • One reference image, if you have a picture you are allowed to share.

3. Send the request

Use Request a Custom Cake or call (904) 643-4172. The form asks only for the order. It does not ask you to create an account. If the bakery inbox is not configured yet, the form will say so and ask you to call. It will not show a fake confirmation.

4. Wait for options and pricing

We look at the date, the size, and the amount of decoration. The reply should tell you what can be made and what it costs. That reply is the moment a request can become an order. Until you accept those terms and we confirm, you do not have a booking.

5. Confirm fulfillment

Pickup or delivery is arranged in that same confirmation. Jacksonville is the market this site describes. A ZIP code lets us say whether a particular address is possible. Same-day service is not offered here. Payment terms are also part of the confirmation. This website does not charge a card.

Serving notes that help the quote

Say if the cake is the only dessert, if you want a small cutting cake plus cupcakes, or if you need the cake to sit out during a long event. Those facts change the plan more than adjectives like “nice” or “fancy.”

Decoration references

A useful reference shows color and shape. A less useful one is a copyrighted character or a watermarked photo from another bakery. Tell us which parts matter and which parts we can change. The photographs in the gallery are style examples, so you can name one and then describe the differences.

Scheduling

Earlier is easier, especially for weddings and graduation season. We do not publish a lead-time rule such as “two weeks,” because availability is a real calendar, not a slogan. If the date does not work, we will say so.
